Jodi provides full-length sessions: if you request a one hour massage you’ll receive 60 minutes of treatment – the full hour. Same for 30, 75 and 90-minute massages. Unlike many of the larger “spas” and group practices that actually only work on clients for 45-50 minutes out of the one-hour session, 75-80 minutes out of a 90-minute session – Jodi gives her clients the full time “on the table” being massaged and treated, PLUS she finishes most massages – at no extra charge – with a hot-towel foot treatment.

A typical Swedish massage consists of five movements.
These movements warm up the muscle tissue, release muscle tension and gradually break up muscle knots known as adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, calms the nervous system, reduces tension and anxiety.
Deep Tissue Massage
This is a type of massage that focuses on realigning deeper layers of the muscles and connective tissues. Deep Tissue massage is specifically helpful for chronic aches and pains. The movement is slower, pressure is stronger and concentrated on areas of tension in order to reach deeper muscle layers.
Deep Tissue massage works by physically breaking down adhesions, releasing pain and restoring normal movement.
A wonderful treatment for all moms to be. Prenatal massage is specifically tailored to an expectant mother. Massage for pregnant women shares the same goals of a regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease pregnancy pains, improve circulation and mobility. This special technique is performed with the client in a side line position using pillows and cushions to support lower back, avoiding any discomfort to mom and baby.
Jodi is Certified in Raindrop Therapy. Raindrop Therapy is a healing technique using high quality, pure essential oils. Raindrop therapy combines aromatherapy, reflexology, massage and moist heat to create healing and cleansing through structural alignment to the body. The purpose of the therapy is to bring total balance, harmony and body wellness – mental, physical and emotional.
Raindrop Therapy helps align the energy centers of the body and releases them if blocked. This therapy is based on the theory that many spinal misalignments are caused by pathogens that reside dormant along the backbone.
Soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle, immobility and pain. It is a safe and effective hands – on technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into the connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
As an alternative medicine therapy, Myofascial Release aims to relax contracted muscles, improve circulation and to stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles.
